Regent Seven Seas’ newest ship, the Explorer has sailed into Southampton for the first time.
The ship which has been deemed by the line as the ‘most luxurious’ ship ever built will visit eight UK and Ireland ports until June 14.
It will then return to the UK in September for a 10-night ex-UK sailing from Southampton following a summer season in Northern Europe.
In November the ship will sail to the Caribbean to complete a season there.

From June 5 the ship will make almost daily calls at at Newcastle, Edinburgh, Belfast, Holyhead, Dublin, Liverpool, Cork and Dartmouth. On June 14 it will sail into Southampton again.
The Explorer was christened by Princess Charlene of Monaco in July 2016 and carries up to 750 guests with all-suite and all-balcony ships.
