Royal Caribbean International has appointed two new members to its sales team.
Guy Farrow joins the cruise line as key account manager and Sophie West joins as the regional sales manager for the West Midlands area.
Farrow has replaced Andrea Keeble who left the company to join One & Only.
He previously worked for a consumer goods brand, Chep, as an account manager.
He will report into Amanda Darrington, sales director for UK and Ireland, who said: “Guy brings with him a unique insight from outside the travel industry in personalised account management that will help identity the strengths of each individual business.
“His management and sales experience will make him a valuable team member in addition to the passion he has shown for the industry.”
Farrow added: “I have always admired the Royal Caribbean brand, so having the chance to be a part of the team is a fantastic opportunity.”
Sophie West previously worked in sales for consumer goods business Burton Biscuit Company.
She will report into Sarah Weetman, head of retail for UK and Ireland and will be responsible for the ‘Midlands’ territory, from Sheffield to Leicester and across to Lincolnshire.
Weetman said: “West brings with her five years’ of strong field experience in the world of fast moving consumer goods and has shown a great enthusiasm at the prospect of tackling the challenge of a new industry.”
West added: “Travel, and cruise specifically, is new for me, but I am excited at the prospect of mastering such a diverse and interesting field.
“I can’t wait to have my own first-hand experience of the world of cruise very soon.”
