The inaugural service of Qantas’ Airbus A380 landed in Los Angeles on October 20, accompanied by film stars John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

Also present were Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Qantas Captain Peter Probert and Qantas Creative Director Marc Newson.
Qantas is the third airline to operate the A380 ‘superjumbo’, following Singapore Airlines and Emirates.
