THOMAS Cook will tomorrow unveil its performance-related pay scheme for retail managers.
The multiple has drawn up the scheme following an exhaustive period of consultation with employees over the past year.
The scheme is expected to be significantly different from that operated by Going Places, which cut basic wages and led to a 30% annual staff turnover at the Woking-based retailer. The Going Places payments system is now being amended (Travel Weekly October 4). Full details of the new Thomas Cook pay scheme will appear in next week’s issue.
