Liz Langan has moved from Oman Air to become UK sales manager responsible for southern England for Air Transat.
With a focus on the Greater London area, she will head the day-to-day relationship management of existing and prospective travel trade partners as well as identifying and pursuing B2B revenue growth opportunities for the airline.
Langan was a key account manager at Oman Air and previously held similar positions at Air Canada and Etihad Airways.
Air Transat runs direct and connecting flights to four Canadian cities from Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow.
UK and Ireland commercial director Lesley Kane said: “We are delighted to welcome Liz Langan to the UK team.
“Her extensive UK airline sales experience will be invaluable to our sales team and will be of great support to our partners in Greater London.”
Langan said: “With new connecting routes and an increased capacity throughout its network, there are many opportunities for our trade partners and I look forward to engaging with them in the months ahead.”
