Loganair has become the 50th member of the European Regions Airline Association (ERA).
The addition of the Scottish regional carrier “adds further substance” to the association’s expanding airline membership, the trade body said.
Jonathan Hinkles, managing director of Glasgow-based Loganair said: “We are delighted to join ERA and see it as a natural progression for us now that we are established as an airline operating under our own brand.
“We also recognise the value that being part of such an organisation brings us with regards to the fast-moving pace of regulatory changes on aviation.”
ERA director general Montserrat Barriga added: “ERA is at the forefront of strategic discussions on the future of the aviation industry, delivering consistent and effective representation.
“We provide an ideal forum for airlines to unite and address shared issues and are very much looking forward to representing Loganair and continuing to champion our airlines’ interests before Europe’s major regulatory bodies.”
