Travel Network Group to run second open forum for members

A second open forum for members of the Travel Network Group is to be held in Cardiff on May 2 as part of a meeting organised by the consortium.

More than 30 members have already signed up to attend the cluster meeting, following the first event held last month.

The day will give members access to the group’s marketing and commercial teams and provide updates on the group’s Honeycomb dynamic packaging system and its cruise club.

An open forum session will be run based on feedback and questions from members and presentations from key business partners.

Group membership services director Lisa Henning said: “With the backing of the Travel Network Group, members have a vast and diverse portfolio of products, services, experience and knowledge available to them and whilst many members tap into what is on offer, many don’t.

“This cluster meeting will be all about how members can take further advantage of the group’s proposition to help them develop their businesses and maximise their earning potential, drawing again on the ‘Power of You’ theme from our last conference.

“At our conference in Monaco, we launched a number of new initiatives, namely the cluster meetings, mystery shopper and Institute of Customer Service training days and with these now established, we are already helping members improve the services they provide to customers and drive incremental sales.”

A total 212 agents have signed up to the mystery shopper initiative.

Henning added: “Our entire purpose is to support members and their businesses and help them grow and develop.

“We will be giving delegates access to our experienced team and promise that that they will leave this meeting feeling energised and better equipped to face the future.”
