Travel Network Group chief executive Gary Lewis is to run seminars across the country to talk to members about the sweeping changes in UK data protection laws.
The events will be held in conjunction with GDPR specialists Moore Stephens, who have been retained by the group to help support Members through the change of law.
The sessions will take place in Exeter, London, Birmingham and Manchester, with more than 70 members already registered to attend.
Lewis said: “Since January this year, we have been working hard behind the scenes to provide members with insight and support on the changing legislation and new regulations that are being introduced across the UK from the 25th May 2018.
“We have developed a comprehensive GDPR Policy and guidance document, which has been developed for all members across all our membership propositions, and have hosted a number of successful webinars.
“The next step we feel is to take to the road and visit as many members as we can, and use this as an opportunity to give them an in-depth briefing on what they need to prepare for as well help with completing the paperwork.”
Head of operations Emily Sutton added: “We are committed to ensuring that members are fully briefed and equipped to comply with the changing landscape that we will trading in, and we are encouraging them to use our teams here and external experts to make sure they are well prepared.”
