Flight Centre Business Travel in the UK is undergoing a brand refresh with a new website and corporate brochure.
The revamp follows the travel management company winning new business worth £64 million, opening three new offices and appointing ten additional consultants over the last 12 months.
The specialist division of Flight Centre Travel Group now has about 350 staff in 26 offices nationwide managing business travel for SME clients with an annual corporate travel spend of up to £2 million.
New locations opened in Cardiff, Chelmsford and Richmond while four new consultants were added to an office in Brighton.
New business wins include Cardiff-based clients such as Echa Microbiology and Welsh ice-hockey team, the Cardiff Devils.
In Oxford, FCBT was appointed to manage the business travel needs of Oxbotica.
Other new clients include Distrelec and BOS Aerospace in Manchester; Rare Studio in Liverpool; and VX International in York
General manager Holly Cairns said: “This is an exciting time for us as over the last five years we have been one of the fastest growing brands within Flight Centre UK.
“FCBT was set up initially to meet the increasing demand from customers of Flight Centre’s leisure agencies for personal local business travel services. Today we have around 1,800 SME clients ranging from individual business owners to larger corporations and look after the around 15,000 business travellers per year.
“Our teams of travel experts pride themselves on delivering great personal service and cost savings to their clients. As we are part of one of the world’s largest travel companies, the strength of our supplier relationships means that our SME clients benefit from the widest choice of cost-effective air fares and hotel rates, that they wouldn’t normally have access to.
“Plus, because FCBT operates locally, our people truly understand their clients’ local business needs and can make a difference. We also don’t bind clients into contracts and offer flexible payment terms.”
