Homeworker bags three-month incentive in two weeks with mega booking

A Travel Franchise homeworker made a £102,000 booking, winning a three-month sales incentive in less than two weeks.

Franchise owner Ben Franklin, of Andover, booked more than 100 people to attend a conference on a Norwegian Cruise Lines ship having built a relationship with the corporate client he met at a networking event for more than six months.

It meant he won the use of a Mini Cooper car for three months having won The Travel Franchise’s incentive to increase sales concurrently for three months.

Franklin said: “I am absolutely thrilled. I have been building my relationship with the client for many months and it is brilliant to see the hard work pay off.

“The booking itself actually happened very quickly – I was able to put together a great package with Norwegian Cruise Lines that the client loved. It’s even more exciting that the booking is expected to grow further – the booking is just for the cruise so far, but I’ll be organising flights and accommodation for many of the attendees, so this really is just the beginning.”

The agent, who joined The Travel Franchise just under a year ago having previously worked in British Airways’ cabin crew and at bmi, will be attending the cruise himself to host and coordinate the conference.

Paul Harrison, co-founder of The Travel Franchise, the recruitment arm of Not Just Travel, said: “We introduced the Mini Cooper sales incentive just last month at our mid-year Conference. It is absolutely amazing to see one of our franchisee achieve this is in such a short space of time. The incentive is quite possibly the biggest ever offered to a travel homeworker and this is a great example of what can be achieved.”
