Visit Tampa Bay has extended its partnership with football club Norwich City.
The Florida-based tourism body retains its status as the Club’s Official Destination Partner, which includes a mix of advertising, activation and events.
Norwich City’s first team squad and a touring party will travel to Tampa Bay during the international break from November 12-17 for a week-long warm weather training camp. Two fans have the chance to join through the club’s Ultimate Fan Experience competition.
Visit Tampa Bay president and chief executive Santiago C Corrada said: “We are thrilled to be continuing our successful partnership with Norwich City and excited to be taking it to the next level with the team coming over to work and experience our beautiful destination.
“The UK is our largest overseas market and working with Norwich City in highlighting everything we have to offer has proven very successful. With increased airlift recently announced from the UK, it’s now even easier for Canaries to come over where we welcome them with open arms.”
Norwich City sporting director Stuart Webber added: “We’re really fortunate to be coming over and thankful to the guys in Tampa for helping us make this happen. I’m sure we’ll have a great week and go back with some tangible benefits that will help us during the football season. It’s also a chance to tell the guys in Florida about Norwich City.”
The Tampa Time half-time challenge will return to Carrow Road on match days next season, with the overall champion across the season winning a trip for four to Tampa Bay.
