Reuben’s Retreat, the charity set up in memory of the son of industry professionals Nicola and Mike Graham, has turned six.
To date the charity has supported 608 children and adults but continues to fundraise to improve its facilities to help families of bereaved children or those with life-threatening illnesses.
Reuben would have turned eight on September 9 and the charity is urging people to join a 10k fundraising run in Salford in his memory on that day.
The charity was set up on August 23, 2012, two days after the death of their son Reuben, aged 23 months, from a rare brain tumour.
To mark its sixth anniversary, the charity is screening the documentary A Love That Never Dies on September 6 and is encouraging people to take part in both Salford 10K and a 23K Longdendale Challenge.
