Olympic gold medal track cyclist Sir Chris Hoy has been confirmed as guest speaker at Travel Counsellors annual conference.
The event, which for the past four years has been held in Manchester, will be staged at the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow on November 9-11.
A record attendance is expected with more than 1,600 delegates, including Travel Counsellor business owners, their partners, suppliers and support colleagues from across the firm’s seven international territories.
The event will include company updates, guest speakers and entertainment designed to inform, motivate and inspire the audience in building their businesses and careers as part of the company.
Sir Chris will appear as guest speaker on the Sunday morning, telling stories of his career, and advising the attendees how to achieve their ambitions and ensure consistently high performance.
The conference comes off the back of a strong year for the company. Having completed a secondary buyout backed by Vitruvian Partners in June, the firm announced record revenues of £217 million – its 12th consecutive year of double digit growth.
