Three new non-executive directors have been elected to the Advantage board.
Tickets Anywhere managing director Bryony Hordern and Baldwins Travel managing director Ron Marks will represent members with no more than six outlets, and whose business is predominantly related to leisure.
The Travel Company managing director Ken McNab will represent members whose business is predominantly related to business travel.
The newly elected members’ first board meeting is scheduled for July 15 when they will join fellow non-executive directors: Stewart Travel managing director Willie Stewart, Ryedale Travel managing director Phil Cornelius, Traveltime World owner Jackie Steadman and Apex Travel owner Tim Brookes-Parry.
Advantage Travel Centres chief executive John McEwan said: “It was a good turnout [for the election], we’re very happy with the response.
“We now have three new non-executive directors, making a total of seven, which is good in terms of change, it helps keep the board fresh.”
