Jaz Hotels, Resorts and Cruises plans to open 16 hotels in Egypt over the next two years.
One of the new hotels is in the resort of Almaza Bay in Mersa Matruh, on the Mediterranean coast.
Jaz Hotels, Resorts and Cruises regional vice-president sales and marketing UK and Ireland Peter Grace said Mersa Matruh was an exciting, new destination for UK consumers – especially as it appears in Thomson’s summer 2010 brochure.
The newly opened five-star Jaz Oriental Resort in Mersa Matruh has 212 rooms, its own secluded beach, as well as indoor and outdoor restaurants, bars, swimming and sports facilities, and evening entertainment.
