The Appointment Group is adopting the TAG brand across the business as part of an image revamp.

The travel and event management company with nine offices in UK, US and Asia Pacific revealed the revamp to mark its 30th anniversary

TAG’s new logo, strapline and website are designed to strengthen the company’s positioning as pioneers in its field.

A new tagline, ‘Experience More’ identifies and illustrates experiences as the common factor that connects all five divisions of the group – corporate, touring, events, private travel and film and media.

The new image follows recent investment from private equity firm Apiary Capital and a new board of directors, with the appointment of non-executive chairman Terry Williamson and CEO Steve Barrass joining chief financial officer Nick Stone and company founder and president John Gianquitto.

TAG acquired SOS – Satellite Office Services – in the US this summer to consolidate the group’s travel management capabilities for touring production.

TAG’s Manchester team expanded last month and moved into a larger office in the city’s financial district.

Plans for 2019 include accelerated growth through investment in smarter technology, talent development, acquisition and expansion into new global
markets.

Barrass said: “This rebrand is an important milestone in TAG’s history.

“It is a necessary step ensuring TAG retains its established values, beliefs and enviable reputation whilst developing a new and modern identity which is essential in such a rapidly evolving and busy industry.”

Gianquitto added: “During these 30 years in business we always strived for quality service by staying ahead of the curve and supporting success.

“It has been imperative for TAG to always be at the forefront and to constantly keep modernising.

“Ultimately, we want to have a brand that represents not only what TAG is about, but also that both our people and customers can identify with and be proud of.”
