Three Central England Co-op Travel branches have jointly scooped the group’s branch of the year award after judges said they could not decide on one winner.
Staff at the stores in Thetford, Beccles and March are celebrating after the win at the Central England Co-op Travel’s annual retail awards ceremony in Cyprus.
Head of specialist business Paul Dale said: “Once again all of our travel stores have had a great year and the decision to pick the best of the best was a tough one.
“This is why, in 2018, we have awarded not one, not two, but three branches of the year because of the way the colleagues have gone above and beyond to help customers.
“They all deserve our praise for exceptional performance, commitment, customer service and community involvement.”
Thetford branch assistant manager Clare Slattery also won the Outstanding Achievement Award for her work. “It means a lot to me to win the award as it shows appreciation and recognition for my hard work. I feel very privileged to win the award,” she said.
