Tapestry unveils new commission structure

TURKEY specialist Tapestry Holidays has launched a new commission structure to reward top-performing agents and encourage more bookings.

The specialist operator currently offers a basic rate of 10% with productive agents able to earn a maximum of 12%.

Under its new system, agents making their first ever Tapestry sale will receive 10%, with every subsequent booking earning 12%.

The structure then ranges from 12%-15% depending on productivity.

Sales and marketing director Andrew Lees said:”This reiterates the importance we attach to our agent business.”

The commission revamp follows the launch of Tapestry’s dedicated Undiscovered Turkey and Greece brochures.

The Bozburun Peninsula in Turkey has been added and features the villages of Turgutkoy, Orhaniye and Selimye – all of which are protected by conservation laws.

Turgutkoy features Tapestry’s first owned hotel, the 40-room Hydas Rana. Escorted tours are also new.

In its first dedicated mainland Greece brochure, expanded from just Kefalonia in 1999, the mountain village region of Pelion has been added. Athens is also included in the programme.

Prices lead in at £420 for seven nights’ bed and breakfast in Arhontiko Ioannidi mansion in the village of Agios Georgios.
