Bedbank Youtravel.com has appointed two distribution managers as it aims to boost its presence in the UK market.
Charlotte Gallop (pictured left) and Jo Arnold joined on January 7.
Gallop has business development and retail experience, having held roles at Travel Counsellors and Thomas Cook.
Arnold joins Youtravel from Destinations of the World, where she was sales manager. She has other trade experience from Shearings and Affordable Car Hire.
Their arrival means the field-based distribution team increases to five, and Lee Smethurst has moved into a senior distribution manager role.
Matt Carpenter, Youtravel’s UK general manager, said: “We set out to strengthen our field based team as we want to further increase our presence in the UK market.
“Growing this team allows us to reach customers in all areas of the country and really raise the Youtravel brand and all the great product that we have to offer.
“We’re delighted to have Jo and Charlotte on board, who bring with them a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry.”
