The 2010 Elite Conference will start on June 2 2010 on Royal Caribbean International’s Independence of the Seas.
The ship was to be the venue for this year’s event, however, it was replaced by the one-day Bournemouth conference last weekend following concerns that agents could not afford to be away from their businesses for too long because of the recession.
Elite Travel Group company secretary Bob Lines said conference delegates will board the ship, which can carry 3,500 passengers, at Southampton. “We’ve had a good turnout in Bournemouth this year and we want an even better turnout next year.”
