Thomas Cook Sport has been announced as the exclusive ‘game breaks’ provider for Major League Baseball ahead of its first ever game in London.
The operator will sell tickets for the otherwise sold-out game at London’s Olympic Stadium between the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox on June 29.
Cook has the exclusive rights to sell tickets in Europe and China after the first 100,000 tickets quickly sold-out in December.
Thomas Cook Sport hotel and ticket breaks will start from £179pp, including a one-night stay in a London hotel and a ticket to the game.
Head of Thomas Cook Sport, Rob Slawson, said: “We’re delighted to be involved as MLB brings games to the UK for the first time. Baseball is an incredible sport and for fans to see such a contest this side of the pond is a fantastic opportunity.
“London Stadium is a great venue and we’re really excited to welcome fans from across Europe and China – I’m sure some US fans will also make the trip to look around the capital and experience history in the making as Major League Baseball lands on UK shores for the first time.”
