Iberostar Waves Gaviotas Park overlooks the soft sands of Jandía Beach in Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands.

Designed with couples and families in mind, the hotel has just reopened after a full renovation in 2024 of its elegant rooms, suites, two restaurants and two bars, with its family facilities enlarged and the outdoor areas transformed – all in time for the winter-sun season.

The swimming pools, activities and entertainment offer excitement for all ages, while clients can also expect wide-ranging cuisine and comfortable rooms where they can unwind throughout their stay.

Rest and relaxation

There’s endless choice at Waves Gaviotas Park, with 237 rooms and suites to suit every client. Families will love the extra space in the newly renovated family suites – some of which enjoy sea or pool views – and include balconies and children’s beds. Double Rooms are perfect for couples, with garden views and space to stretch out.

Wellness Doubles also include unlimited access to Spa Sensations, where guests can visit the hydrotherapy area and book massages and treatments (extra costs apply).

And the hotel’s five pools are just the spot to soak up the sun. The dedicated children’s pool features fun slides and inflatables, while teens or adults might prefer to head to the beach to swim or do watersports (at extra cost).

Iberostar’s signature Star Camp has also been reinvented with updated facilities and an exciting schedule of classes, crafts and more for all ages. There’s also a new playground and games zone, so children will never run out of things to do.

All-day adventure

To set everyone up for a fun-filled getaway, Iberostar Waves Gaviotas Park offers diverse dining across two restaurants serving local and international dishes.

Buffet-style Maday restaurant not only provides delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner to guests, but also brings international cuisine to life through theme-nights and live cooking shows, and even has dedicated baby and children’s menus for little diners.

To continue the excitement, the dance floor at Tindaya Bar is reserved for kids at the start of each evening. Once they’re tucked up in bed, live shows and entertainment keep the party going, while the Marasul Lobby Bar offers a more relaxed atmosphere to enjoy an evening drink.

Guests won’t have to worry about shelling out for ice creams or entertainment with the all-inclusive package that puts everything at their fingertips. It includes:
