Soft adventure specialist On The Go Tours is expanding by opening a reservations office in Canada.
The new base in Toronto, due to open in July, will house six reservations consultants headed by North America general manager Mike Quinto.
On The Go Tours has chosen Canada to expand its global presence as a result of increased bookings and indications that it is an even stronger market than the US.
The operator already has offices in London, Brisbane and Johannesburg.
The company has had business development managers in Canada for ten years in comparison to just six months in the US.
The Canadian team will work closely with travel agents and established trade partnerships to drive awareness of the UK-based firm in North America.
The new opening will also help overcome the challenge of time zones, ensuring that both customers and agents are assisted in real time.
