Two agents at Hays Travel in Cockerton, County Durham, have raised more than £1,000 for a local charity, thanks to a sky-dive.
Ashleigh Davison and Ebonie Bruce collected the sponsorship money for the Daisy Chain Project, a charity that helps children on the autistic spectrum and their families across the Tees Valley.
Despite planning to jump, Ashleigh had to be replaced at the last minute by her husband for the sky dive, in tandem with a professional sky-diver.
Ashleigh, assistant manager at the branch, said: “Ebonie and my husband both said it was amazing. It was over quickly so they didn’t get chance to get scared or nervous.
“They were actually as high as the flights you go on when you go on holiday, as they jumped from 12,000 feet.
“I didn’t get chance to take part but I am proud of how much money we raised.
“Thank you to everyone who made this possible and who sponsored us.”
