Lastminute.com’s travel sales director Andy Washington has left the company and is understood to be joining Thomas Cook’s new e-commerce division.
Washington was sales and distribution director at Cosmos before joining lastminute.com just over two years ago.
Lastminute.com director of hotel partner marketing Mark Maddock will be covering Washington’s role until a decision is made on a permanent replacement.
Thomas Cook announced the creation of its online travel agency division, based in London, in May and named Simon Robinson as UK managing director of e-commerce.
