A man has pleaded guilty to six counts of robbery in connection with a string of armed raids on travel agencies in Staffordshire, Lancashire and Derbyshire.
Gary Gilboy appeared at Stoke on Trent Crown Court yesterday (Monday). Gilboy, 49, of Mentmore Crescent, Liverpool, will be sentenced at a later date.
He was arrested earlier in the month following a raid on a Co-operative Travel agency in Hanley in which a screwdriver was used.
