Travel Weekly was honoured as Best B2B Industry Communication at last night’s British Travel Awards, winning a 42.1% share of the vote.
The British Travel Awards mix both consumer-voted and panel-based awards. Voting is supported by a 21-week campaign in The Sunday Times, The Times, News of the World and The Sun, as well as radio, outdoor and online promotion.
In 2009 over 100,000 votes were submitted and independently audited by Deloitte to ensure voting transparency.
TWgroup editor Lucy Huxley was on hand to collect what is the group’s first major award as an independent business.
