Antalya in Turkey is being added as the 33rd destination in easyJet’s network from Liverpool John Lennon airport.
Weekly flights will run on Thursdays, joining routes already available to Dalaman and Bodrum.
The service starts on April 2, 2020, and is expected to carry 8,000 passengers in its first season. Fares lead-in at £60.16 return.
The budget carrier’s UK country manager Ali Gayward said: “We are delighted to confirm today that we will be launching a new route from Liverpool to Antalya.
“As the largest airline at Liverpool we’re focused on strengthening our network and providing our customers in the north-west with excellent services by offering great value fares, a convenient schedule and more choice when they travel.”
Airport chief executivd John Irving added: “Holidays to Turkey are popular with passengers from across the north-west and North Wales who now have the opportunity to fly from Liverpool with easyJet to the three main Turkish Mediterranean holiday destinations, with this new route complementing the airline’s existing services to Dalaman and Bodrum.
“This news also means passengers can book their summer holidays to Antalya through easyJet Holidays from Liverpool.”
