Air France-KLM has bounced back into profit in its second quarter and has raised its financial targets.
The carrier recorded a net profit of €290 million in the June-September period after a loss of €147 million a year earlier. Sales rose by 18.6% to €6.64 billion.
The global recession forced the carrier into severe capacity cutbacks and cost-cutting on short- and medium-haul flights last year.
The airline is now looking to an operating profit of more than €300 million in its financial year to March 2011.
