Clia UK & Ireland has released dates of the next wave of Facebook Live webinars this month.
The trade association will host three webinars on February 7, February 12 and February 19 which feature Clia UK & Ireland director Andy Harmer and cruise line executives.
Emerald Cruises’ David Winterton; Shearings Holidays’ Michael Bowers; AmaWaterways’ Jamie Loizou, Avalon Waterways’ Janet Parton and CroisiEurope’s John Fair are all set to appear in the broadcasts.
News, industry trends and selling advice are discussed by Harmer and his guests and agents are invited to ask questions.
Last year, Clia moved the webinars over from its website to Facebook Live to reach a larger audience.

Harmer said: “Hosting our live learning sessions on Facebook made sense as it’s the main social platform our travel agent members use, and it’s great to see increased engagement with our members following the move.
“Through the live learning sessions, we hope to support agents in expanding their industry knowledge, helping them to grow their cruise sales and gain a deeper insight into the different sectors of the ever-evolving cruise industry.”
More details will be announced over the coming months.
Dates for Clia’s Facebook Live webinars are: February 7, 9-10am; February 12, 9.30-10.30am; and February 19, 7-8pm.
