Former BCP sales and marketing director Eric Campus has joined CallUma’s senior team as the company prepares to announce new trade partners.
Campus, a shareholder, has taken on a non-executive business development role at the company and is involved in brand building and relationship marketing.
It is understood the company will announce a new signifcant trade partner next week. It already works with The Co-operative Travel and Advantage travel agents.
CallUma offers mobile phone services including luggage tracking, destination information, and emergency help abroad, including an out of hours call taking facility for travel agents and tour operators. It has been sold through the trade since 2008.
Campus said: “This service offers peace of mind when customers are abroad and has already proved popular with agents.”
Campus joins two other former employees of parking specialist BCP now at CallUma. BCP founder Stephen Moss is a non-executive director and shareholder, while former BCP regional sales manager Darren Burr joined CallUma as UK sales director in 2008.
CallUma managing director Tony Partridge said: “I am delighted we now have three key members from the original crack BCP team to make CallUma the same travel industry success story as BCP.”
