LONG-HAUL specialist Travel 2/4 is on the hunt for staff to fill vacancies at all three of its offices in London, Manchester and Glasgow.
Personnel manager Tina Crowe said the operator was looking for people to work in its reservations, ticketing, air product and hotels departments. In particular, it wants to meet college graduates who are looking for their first job in travel.
“It is very difficult for people from college to get started in the industry but we make a point of taking people without experience and training them,” said Crowe. “We always have places for college leavers.”
She was unable to say exactly how many vacancies Travel 2/4 was looking to fill, but a number are for its recently opened calls centre in Glasgow. All new employees are put through a four-week training course.
“We were at Travel ’98 in London which was excellent and we are hoping that at Travel ’99 we will meet potential job candidates at all levels,” added Crowe.
