This appointment also follows Clyde joining US business travel alliance Hickory Global Partners, further strengthening its US presence where it has a presence in Houston.

Managing director Paul Cronje said: “As Clyde expands its global footprint, I am delighted to welcome Cameron to our leadership team.

“Despite the immense challenge posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, strategically these remain some of the most exciting times of our company’s 30-year history, and I am excited about the impact Cameron’s expertise will have on our business and our valued customers.”

Bengert added: “My aim is to assist in the navigation of the current challenging climate and collaboratively work with the teams to continue to innovate and optimise the customer experience.”
