Jet2 adds late summer Turkey capacity

Jet2 and Jet2holidays has added more than 60 new flights to Turkey for the end of the summer.

The late season extra capacity amounts to over 12,000 departing seats to Antalya, Dalaman, Izmir and Bodrum.

This follows the company adding 50 flights to Turkey in response to demand.

The move comes in the wake of mainland Portugal being added to the UK’s quarantine list and Jet2 suspending its Algarve programme until September 27.

The new flights to Turkey are from eight UK airports including Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and Stansted.

Jet2 and Jet2holidays chief executive Steve Heapy said: “It’s clear from the high demand we are seeing for holidays and flights to Turkey that customers are keen to get away this summer ‘20 for a much-needed holiday.

“As usual, we have been quick to respond to that demand, giving our customers what they want by adding more seats and holidays on sale to this sunny hotspot.”
