Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’ first world cruise by new addition Borealis has achieved first week sales of more than £1 million.
The 101-night voyage from Southampton in January 2022 become one of the best-selling itineraries since the line paused operations in March.
The option of a 105-night sailing from Liverpool also went on sale last week.
People who book by October 31 will receive up to £600 per person on board spending as well as the cost of tips covered, with prices starting at £9,999.
Agents who make a booking on the circumnavigation or ant 2021 or 2022 cruise by November 30 will be entered into a draw to win a cruise on one of the company’s new ships next year.
Head of sales Geoff Ridgeon said: “These results are testament to the hard work of our itineraries team, who worked exceptionally hard to get this exciting new world cruise ready in just a matter of weeks.
“A world cruise at any time is an investment, and to see such encouraging sales amidst such a challenging year just goes to show that our guests and our many loyal agents share with us in our confidence for the future.
“Of course, all agents who make a booking onto this sailing will be in with the chance of winning a cruise for two on board one of our new ships next year.”
