Former World Travel Holdings sales and operations chief Ryan Johnston has been named managing director of Destinology.
The appointment follows the online luxury operator being acquired from Saga by Stewart Travel owner Brooklyn Travel Holdings in October.
Brooklyn bought assets including the brand, database and Bolton head office, which comes on a long-term lease.
Brooklyn chief executive Duncan Wilson told Travel Weekly at the time that the group planned to put a marketing plan in place for Destinology for January when it expects there to be a pick-up in sales for bookings for summer and autumn 2021.
Johnston spent almost ten years at World Travel Holdings and previously held roles with MyTravel, Gold Medal Travel Group and Airtours.
