EasyJet has clinched a pan-European commercial pact with American Express Global Business Travel just days after agreeing a preferred partnership with FCm Travel Solutions.
The new deal means that the budget airline will be working with Amex as one of its first travel management company partners.
EasyJet’s UK director Paul Simmons said: “Business passengers are voting with their feet – with nine million of them choosing to fly EasyJet last year.
“In these tough economic times easyJet offers an extensive route network, with high frequencies on business routes, great customer service and low fares.
“EasyJet can offer corporates real savings and fantastic value for money.”
The airline struck a new deal with Amadeus last year which it believes will be instrumental in gaining a larger market share of the business travel market in Europe.
It also introduced Flexi fares which give business passengers flexibility to change the date of their flights.
