Inghams adds extra Lapland departures for next winter

Inghams has added more trips to Finnish Lapland for 2021-22 as customers have begun booking for next winter.

The operator’s Arctic Circle programme includes a range of seven- and three-night trips in three resorts; Levi, Ylläs and Saariselkä.

Tours offer the chance to stay in a thermal glass igloo and watch the Northern Lights, ride in a reindeer or husky-drawn sleigh, ski, ride snowmobiles through forests and meet Santa.

Santa Breaks include a half-day at Santa’s Workshop, a private meeting with Santa and games with the Elves.

Half of Inghams’ Lapland programme for next year has already sold out, with Santa’s Lapland trips cancelled for this Christmas due to Covid. It has brought the 2021-22 programme forward a week to add extra departures. Santa Breaks will now begin on November 28, 2021.

Julie Franklin, head of agency sales at parent Hotelplan UK, said: “Our agent partners account for a large part of our business and are really taking all opportunities to promote this bucket list destination to their customers.

“Lapland is not only perfect for families and for Santa but is also perfect for a winter wonderland break for adults post the festive period. We are happy to help agents promote this fantastic product and many tools can be found in our agent toolkit on our website to support them.”
