NCL unveils new trade portal to support agents

Norwegian Cruise Line has launched a new trade portal designed to help agents learn, market and sell cruise holidays with the line.

Norwegian Central features the Seaweb agent booking platform, a revamped version of training platform NCL University (NCLU) and Marketing Headquarters, where the trade can source marketing materials including flyers, banners and videos.

NCLU contains new courses and achievement levels, plus a reduced rate programme that allows agents to book discounted cruises in return for completing modules.

Agents can keep up to date with the line’s news through Norwegian Central and access an exclusive Partners First Facebook Page.

Webinars, ship visits and events are also advertised on the platform.

Eamonn Ferrin, vice president and managing director of NCL UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa, said: ‘In line with our ‘partners first’ philosophy, it has been our utmost priority this year to provide our valued travel agent partners with the support they need, and we will continue to build on this going forward.

“We see a great demand for NCL cruises, especially for 2021, 2022 and 2023, and we are increasing our efforts to ensure we equip agents with the best tools possible to help them capitalise on this opportunity.

“We are excited to launch Norwegian Central, which brings all our key tools together in one convenient place and look forward to introducing further initiatives very soon.”

Earlier this month, NCL launched fly-cruise booking programme NCL Air, providing agents with real-time access and pricing for flights across the UK and Ireland.
