Cruise Plus releases first collection under Gold Medal banner

Gold Medal brand Cruise Plus has released its Cruise Collection, featuring 30 packages including 2021, 2022 and 2023 cruise itineraries.

The collection is the first from Cruise Plus since it migrated over from Travel 2 as part of the trade-only sister brands’ merger earlier this year.

All offers are priced from four regional UK airports with up to four different cabin options “to ensure agents have all the options to present their customers”, Gold Medal said.

The Romantic Rome & Mediterranean Wonders cruise-and-stay package, departing on November 11, 2021, leads in at £1,479. The package includes a seven-night cruise on Royal Caribbean International’s Harmony of the Seas and flights from London City airport.

Agents have been sent a dedicated e-shot to use when marketing the collection.

Kerry Gallagher, Gold Medal marketing director, said: “Cruising has had a really challenging year, but we know that when restrictions lift, it will be the holiday of choice for thousands of travellers who can’t wait to sail again.

“We want agents to be fully prepared and fully informed of the packages we have available when that time comes. Our first Cruise Collection brings all of the information they need to sell cruises right in to 2023 together in one place and gives them the benefit of the years of expertise developed through our Cruise Plus brand.

“We’re looking forward to working with them in the months to come in helping their customers understand the best options for them, for when cruising restarts.”
