Potential bidders for a half stake in Newcastle airport have reportedly been whittled down to a shortlist.
These include private equity fund 3i, Antin Infrastructure and Australian investment fund AMP, according to the Sunday Times.
Copenhagen Airports put its 49% stake in the north-east airport up for sale in May after paying £195 million for it in 2001.
The remaining 51% is held by seven local councils which want to retain their shareholdings.
