An aircraft has been evacuated on the runway at Glasgow airport after reports of the cabin filling with smoke.
The incident happened on a Jet2.com flight bound for Alicante at about 7.40am.
According to reports, the Scottish Ambulance Service said it was treating four passengers for chest and hip injuries, which are believed to be minor,
Strathclyde Fire and Rescue said it had sent three appliances.
The alert comes just eight days after a Thomas Cook flight returning from Dalaman in Turkey had to be evacuated on the tarmac at Glasgow when its cabin also filled with smoke.
