A dedicated long-haul unit is being created by Lowcostbeds.com with hotels added in Florida, Dubai, Mauritius, Dominican Republic and Mexico.
The total number of direct long-haul contracts has more than doubled since additional buyers were recruited by the firm.
New destinations include Kenya, Gambia, Maldives, Mauritius and South America.
Lowcostbeds has more than 20,000 hotels available in long-haul destinations on the website and through its XML link.
Leigh Harrington has joined as senior long-haul product manager from Neilson Holidays following expansion in the Caribbean, Far East and Australia, as well as increased capacity in the US and Middle East.
Long-haul figures for the last three months released by the Lowcosttravel Group reveal increased bookings to US cities, such as: New York, up 129% year on year, Boston up 233%, Chicago up 33% and Las Vegas up 42%.
