Dubai will host this summer’s overseas conference for the Association of Independent Tour Operators and Aito Specialist Travel Agents.
The news was announced at this year’s domestic Aito agents conference and follows the recent announcement for two overseas conferences this year in summer and winter.
At least 60 delegates, mainly travel agents but also sales representatives from tour operator members, are expected to attend the event from June 14-17.
Held at the five star Sofitel Jumeirah Beach hotel, the three night conference will focus on three themes: the retail environment, maximising the agent/operator relationship and consumer travel plans for 2013 and beyond.
Agents will be asked to vote on which topical issues they would like to discuss at the event.
Aito is urging members to register and book by the end of February.
