Neil Basnett has been named as new chief executive of the Elite Travel Group.
Basnett has been involved in the luxury-focused consortium for eight years as a director and chairman.
He said: “I look forward to developing our close working relationships with Advantage and ensuring that our loyal members continue to gain from the benefits of their membership.
“With continued mutual support for both members and suppliers, I am confident that the Elite Travel Group will continue to be relevant in today’s very challenging workplace.”
Elite chairman Wayne Darrock said: “The time is now right to appoint a head office senior figurehead to support the board of directors, the team at head office, members and our business partners.
“Neil’s recent availability made this appointment a perfect fit and a natural choice, both with his previous experience as chairman of our consortium, as well as his passion, a passion that matches that of the board of directors”.
Basnett takes up the position on February 4.
