Thomas Cook UK chief financial officer David Taylor is to leave the business.
Nigel Arthur, who joined the company as UK director for shared services and operations at the end of last year, will replace him in an interim role. Arthur joined from Heineken, where he was chief financial officer.
A spokeswoman for the company said Taylor’s departure was part of the reshaping of the business.
He had been in the role only two-and-a-half months, after being promoted from his previous role of transformation director by UK chief executive Peter Fankhauser.
Cook also recently revealed that the outgoing finance director of supermarket Morrisons was to join its board.
Richard Pennycook will become an independent non-executive director at the travel giant from April 1.
