Hays Travel’s 2013 apprentice recruitment drive has seen a record numbers of applicants, the company has announced.

To support the 2013 apprentice recruitment scheme, Hays Travel is taking part in National Apprenticeship Week, starting on March 11. This has been designed to celebrate apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses and the economy.

Hays Travel are holding open days at a selection of branches, where anyone who is interested in the apprenticeship programme can come along to meet NVQ assessors and current apprentices in order to gain an insight into apprenticeships with Hays.

Katie Woods-Ruddick, Hays Travel’s head of training, said: “Hays Travel offer a highly rewarding apprenticeship programme, which is the first step in what we hope to be a long and rewarding career with the company.

“We are delighted to have already received so many applications, which shows there is an increasing demand for people to join a programme like ours, ensuring that we bring high quality recruits into the business.”
