EUROPCAR has formed a division devoted to increasing corporate-sector business.
The business division has been set up following a restructure of car-rental company’s sales team.
UK national sales manager Avril Palmer has been promoted to business development director overseeing a team of six people.
She said: “Business travel is very important to Europcar and we want to increase our activity in this area. Our key focus will be to develop new business opportunities.
Two new members of staff have been recruited from outside Europcar. Diane Curtis-Preston joins from Thrifty and Marcus Russell joins from vehicle and leasing company Master Drive.
In addition, Daniel Brooks has been appointed from within Europcar to the newly created position of corporate sales manager.
