Travel 2’s investment in trade relations has been boosted with three new staff in its marketing team.
Marketing assistants Donna McAlpine and Laura Smart have joined the long-haul specialist as graduates of the University of Strathclyde Business School where they studied marketing, public relations and international business.
Graphic designer Victoria Haining brings with her four years of experience from previous employers South Lanarkshire Leisure & Culture and Agripa Solutions as well as qualifications in graphic design and digital art.
All will work on growing trade-support functions, including brochure production, point-of-sale and other marketing material.
Sales and marketing director Gordon McCreadie said: “These new appointments are yet another example of our commitment to the trade, which last year included a major refresh of the Travel2.com website and a raft of brilliant incentives for agents.
“We can see clearly that staff on the frontline appreciate what we have been doing – enquiries and sales continue to go from strength to strength as more and more agents realise we have the product, prices and support to make them successful.”
