Cosmos has introduced a seven-night stay in Waikiki to its escorted-touring product in California. Nine nights are spent on the US West Coast, with a flight to Honolulu and accommodation at the Outrigger Islander Waikiki. The 18-day holiday costs from £1,195 including United Airlines flights.

Hawaiian Travel Centre is offering free room upgrades at the Royal Lahaina Resort in Maui, from ocean-view category to full ocean-front. Prices are based on 14-night stays with United flights from £1,188 during November 1-December 10, to £1,327 for September.

Unijet has introduced wedding packages in Oahu and Maui, from £499 and £699 respectively, in its Round the World programme. Nightly stays in Oahu lead in at £27 per person at the Hawaii Waikiki Beach and Aston Coral Reef hotels.

Travel 4 has added four-day Waikiki ground packages and separate sightseeing excursions to its expanded Hawaii section for 1999. It includes three- night hotel stays, Hawaiian dinner show and Pearl Harbour trip, costing from £176, depending on hotel choice. The 9hr Grand Circle Island tour can be pre-booked for £32.

United Vacations and Alamo have teamed up to offer £20 reductions on weekly rental-rates for convertibles in Hawaii during September-December. These are for fully-inclusive Alamo Gold packages and in addition to £15 discounts on seven-day standard rentals. Prices start at £140 per week.
